BGP VPS plans are now available on the Valor Node network. These plans are designed for network operators and organizations who need to announce their own ARIN or RIPE-registered IP space through our infrastructure.
What Is a BGP VPS?
A BGP VPS is a KVM virtual machine with a pre-configured BGP session. Instead of using IP addresses assigned by us, you bring your own IP prefixes and announce them through our network. This lets you:
- Maintain portable, provider-independent IP space
- Multi-home across multiple providers
- Control your routing policy and community tagging
- Keep your IP space if you ever change providers
Plans Available
Three tiers are available at launch:
- BGP VPS Small — 1 vCPU, 512 MB RAM, 10 GB SSD — $1.50/month
- BGP VPS Medium — 2 vCPU, 2 GB RAM, 30 GB SSD — $3.50/month
- BGP VPS Large — 4 vCPU, 4 GB RAM, 60 GB SSD — $5.50/month
All plans include a BGP session, DDoS mitigation, and KVM virtualization.
Requirements
To use a BGP VPS, you'll need:
- A public ASN registered with ARIN, RIPE, or another RIR
- A /24 or larger IPv4 prefix, or a /48 or larger IPv6 prefix, registered in an IRR database
- RPKI ROAs registered for your IP space (strongly recommended)
Our NOC team can assist with BGP configuration. If you need IP space, check our LIR & IP Services for ARIN-registered allocations.
